I’ll write one post for all of the test because they’re all the same. I think it is useful to practise grammer and reading comprehansion, however that “reading”-s are a little boring, because when I read the end I’ve forgotten the beginning. Shouldn’t they be more about a real-life-situation than raw facts about some sphere of sciense and full of sciense terminology? 
For example some people talk for smth. and then we should answer questions about their topic, their conversation, facts that are mentioned about their clothes hairstyle etc. I think the real point of TOEFEL is to see whether we could survive in a foreign-language-society, not whether we will understand all about the protozoans, umbra and penumbra or some political topics.

I think that there should be such texts, because they want to see if you can survive not only in American society but also in American college
. Of course TOEFL shows your basic english abilities. However for me the most difficult part was speaking 
And the listening was a little bit perplexing,but not impossible to understand. At all I think TOEFL is normally difficult, but I cant understand why the Math in the SAT is so difficult while when you go to college you study (first months) things here we study in 5 class!!!

Difficult readings (whole 5!!!!) difficult listening as well as speaking…. dam’ that’s gonna “kick my ass”! And after that what’s on SAT is difficult maths. Oh my gosh, not maths!!!

vesi, why do you think college math=5 grade math?
it depends on the college and on the class you have chosen. you should no t generalize.
as for toefl, the texts we’re doing now are a piece of cake compared to sat texts, and … sat texts can give you a rough picture of the level of difficulty of college books … just a rough idea
some might be harder
a civilized person willing to save the world and earn a lot of money shgould learn hoe to read difficult texts

ok- by giving example of college math=5 grade I meant not all colleges of course. I wrote it because of what Maria told me they study in Cottey so far. I don’t tell that all math is so easy
when i have in mind my awful performance on exams 
I know SAT gives a rough idea of the college tests, that’s why I’m so scared that I may not be able to deal with them if I’m accepted

heey all , i have presented toefl exam and its such hard one exactly in listining that i thought its the first time i hear english conversation
